Startup Summit Nepal × Startup Sutra — Presidential Graduate School

Presidential Graduate School was selected as a venue for the Startup Summit Nepal because of its strong focus on graduate-level education, practical learning, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-oriented academic development.

A university or graduate school should not be limited to providing academic qualifications; it should also serve as a platform where students can transform their knowledge, skills, research, and ideas into practical solutions, innovative ventures, and economic opportunities. In this context, Presidential Graduate School provides an appropriate environment for connecting academic knowledge with entrepreneurship and the real-world business ecosystem.

The Startup Summit Nepal at Presidential Graduate School aims to provide students with practical exposure to entrepreneurship, business planning, investment and financing, market opportunities, digital technology, artificial intelligence, innovation, and business operations. The Summit encourages students to move beyond the traditional mindset of seeking employment and motivates them to become job creators, innovators, and future entrepreneurs.

Furthermore, organizing the Summit at Presidential Graduate School creates an opportunity for direct interaction among students, faculty members, entrepreneurs, startup founders, investors, industries, government representatives, and other stakeholders. Such interaction can help bridge the gap between education and the market, promote collaboration between academic research and industry, and create pathways for students to turn their ideas and skills into viable businesses and employment opportunities.

Therefore, Presidential Graduate School was chosen as a strategic academic platform for the Startup Summit Nepal to foster an entrepreneurial mindset, encourage innovation, strengthen university–industry collaboration, and empower students to become active contributors to Nepal's startup and economic ecosystem.
