स्टार्टअपमा महिला : अवसर, चुनौती र आगामी बाटो

Although Nepal's startup and innovation ecosystem has grown rapidly in recent years, women's participation, leadership, and access to investment remain significantly below expectations. Women entrepreneurs continue to face numerous barriers when starting and scaling businesses, including limited access to finance, inadequate technical and entrepreneurial skills, restricted access to technology and markets, difficulties balancing family responsibilities with business commitments, and insufficient policy and institutional support.

Recognizing these challenges and the need to identify practical solutions, the interaction program titled "Women in Startups: Opportunities, Challenges, and the Way Forward" was organized to strengthen women's entrepreneurship and promote a more inclusive startup ecosystem in Nepal.

The primary objective of the program was to bring together women entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, government agencies, private sector representatives, academic institutions, and development partners on a common platform to engage in meaningful dialogue. The recommendations and key findings generated through the interaction were intended to contribute to the formulation of policies and programs that promote women's entrepreneurship in Nepal.
